Fitness Wizard

I adore ballet and know that the dancers in this arena are physical superhumans. One look at a professional ballet dancer is pure evidence that it’s just not possible to” perform” ballet without certain physical gifts and a lifetime of dedication. However, classical ballet is also appropriate for almost everyone as a FOUNDATION to all kinds of physical movement. Think of it as training for any sport or activity requiring any of the following:  strength, elevation and safe landings, quickness, balance, flexibility, body isolations, endurance, integrated body movements, and control at all levels of physical motion.

As a matter of fact, any physical element you can think of which is required for soccer, wrestling, baseball, hockey, basketball, ice skating, etc. is part of EVERY ballet class. So, can you tell me why this fitness wizard, ballet, isn’t a required training facet for all sports?
